Enjoy a whole lot of tail-wagging fun at the Great Country Mutt Show, the Little Guild’s tongue-in-cheek, Westminster-style dog show! Whether your pup is purebred, a lovable mix, or proudly “unique,” this is their day to shine. With playful categories, a Best in Show parade open to all participants, and prizes that celebrate every pooch’s personality, the Mutt Show is all about fun, laughter, and celebrating our four-legged friends.
Join us on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Lime Rock Park from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM (doors open at 10:30 AM) for a day packed with excitement for the whole family. Enjoy celebrity hosts, live music, visit delicious food trucks, and browse an fun array of dog-themed vendors. Registration is limited and first-come, first-served—$25 per category, and you can enter your pup in as many as you like! Every registered pup walks the ring with their owner and receives a memento. Winners in each category go home with a prized blue-ribbon to call their own!

Scot Haney
Scot Haney is a beloved meteorologist and co-host at WFSB Channel 3 in Hartford, known for his warmth, humor, and deep connection to the community. A passionate supporter of animal welfare, Scot has used his platform to highlight the important work of local rescue organizations like the Little Guild. Whether helping promote events or celebrating rescue success stories, Scot brings heart and visibility to the mission. His passion and positivity make him a true friend to the animals—and the people—of the Little Guild.

Richard Schlesinger
Richard Schlesinger is a distinguished American journalist best known for his decades-long career at CBS News, including award-winning work for “48 Hours” and “CBS Sunday Morning.” His investigative reporting earned him 10 Emmy Awards and two Alfred I. duPont-Columbia Awards. In addition to his journalistic excellence, Richard is a devoted, long-time friend of the Little Guild. His steadfast support and genuine care for the animals and people involved have made him a cherished part of the Little Guild family!

Bill Berloni
Renowned for his dedication to rescue animals, Bill has transformed countless lives and inspired audiences worldwide. From training the original Sandy for Annie to Bing in The Friend, Bill has shown the world that rescue animals can be true stars. His passion for animal welfare and his support have been critical to the Guild’s success. We are delighted to have him back this year as our Great Country Mutt Show Judge!

Strengthening the loving bonds between people and pets in our communities.
The Little Guild is dedicated to rescuing and nurturing homeless dogs and cats for adoption into safe and caring homes. To improve well-being, we also provide educational programs and training, as well as medical, food and social services support to pet owners in need.
