Casey Bovat

Kennel Manager

Casey joined the Little Guild as an Animal Care Specialist and has progressed to Kennel Manager. She has two Little Guild alums at home named Bear and Smokey. She loves spending her days with the animals and seeing how much they all change in their time here. Watching animals leave with their fur-ever families is her favorite part of the job!

Alex Echevarria

Kennel Behaviorist

Alex has been working with dogs for ten years as a trainer, day care attendant, veterinary assistant, and more. When he is not at The Little Guild training and caring for dogs, he enjoys painting, acting, and hiking. He lives in Torrington with his wife Marilyn, daughter Samantha, and their dog Beans.

Chris Marro

Facility & Transportation Manager

Chris joined The Little Guild in 2017 as an animal care specialist and now serves as the Facility & Transportation Manager. He brings a lifetime of passion for animals and a desire to make a difference in the rescue community in addition to a degree in marketing, and a commitment to improving the lives of our residents.  Chris enjoys times with his Jack Russell Terrier and his three rescue cats.

Susan Boucher

Assistant Manager

Spend one moment with Sue and you know just how much she loves animals.  Whether it's rescuing a snapping turtle or saving an injured chipmunk, Sue never passes by an animal in need. Bursting with kindness and always ready to lend a hand, Sue is a wonderful asset to The Little Guild.  Also, a truly talented baker and gardener, Sue is definitely a great person to keep close by!

Kassidy Humphrey

Feline Manager

Kassidy joined The Little Guild in 2020 as an animal care specialist and was promoted to the Feline Manager in 2021. Kassidy has two cats that are little guild alumni, Cleo (previously Mary) and Keira (previously Butterscotch). Kassidy enjoys being able to help animals in need and giving them the time and attention they need to help them find their furever homes!

Emily Minacci

Long-time Little Guild devotee, Emily makes sure that all the columns and rows add up! She and her family enjoy time at home with their two sweet beagles ... both Little Guild rescues!

Ann DeCerbo

Marketing & Technology Director

Ann is lifetime animal lover, mother of three, and active community organizer.  She jokes that her house – with a busy family, 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 guinea pigs, 2 birds, and a tankful of fish – fits somewhere between Peaceable Kingdom and Wild America.  Having worked as a creative services director for more than 20 years, Ann offers a wealth of marketing experience.   She is delighted to be a part of the animal rescue world and says, “Marketing the beautiful mission and adorable animals of The Little Guild is a no-brainer …and a pleasure!”

Tiffany Lemelin

Shelter Manager

Quick-moving and always ready with a smile and a solution, Tiffany brings years of executive management experience to the Little Guild. Asked whether the dogs are hard to manage behind the desk, Tiffany says, "Not at all.  Animals have always been a constant and important part of my family."  Outside of the office, Tiffany enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, cat and LG alumni dog!

Kelsey Turick

Animal Care Specialist

Kelsey joined The Little Guild in 2021 as an animal care specialist. She has a cat, Topaz, who she adopted from The Little Guild. She enjoys being at work surrounded by the animals and helping take care of them until they find their forever homes.
